The United States is currently voting in critical midterm elections, in which all 435 seats in the House of Representatives, 35 seats in the Senate, and 36 governor positions will be contested. Already over 57 million early votes have been cast in a race where the Democrats are striving for unprecedented victories in Congress to deal with living expenses as well as contesting Mr. Donald Trump’s policy on Iran in the remaining two years of his term in office. The Republicans, on their side, are looking to hold on to their slim majority in both the Senate (53-47) and House despite poor approval ratings for President Donald Trump and the normal midterm obstacles for the party in power.
